Poem 05 of 35

The Land of Dreams

Within the land of dreams resides the queen

Hope for her comes in a form unseen

As her host breaths she plays a star

The rainbow may now begin to shatter

But all is trivial and may not matter

Do not be weary of the ghost behind the mirror

Brush off the dust and all will become clearer

As the queen walks she looks out the window

Nothing to see but the laughter of snow

What now will the queen do

Will she turn to me or maybe to you

Dawn draws near and her host will soon stir

Half awake and confused he reaches out to her

Her imagine is in his hands

No strength left to break these bands

He awakens upon a cloud so pure

He wants to venture but isn't too sure

What will mysteries to behold and to find

He travels not knowing that he's become blind

For now he's trapped within the sleeping queens mind
