Poem 10 of 35

Solace of Faeries

The solace of sunlight brings a faerie yonder

Causing a small child to inspire and wonder

The light of hope is among her fluttering wings

The sounds of mystery and darkness entice as she sings

As the child grows she begins to explore

Around rivers and forests at the mountain's rim

Inspiring places where no mortal can be found

Her mind loosens but is never dim

The child now has grown old

Ripples of generations have passed with knowledge untold

Though the world shall pass and change

The mysteries of fate are never to strange

For those who have been taught by the once child

Their lands can be timid but never mild

The solace of sunlight brings a faerie yonder

Causing another small child to inspire and wonder.
