Poem 30 of 35

Mirror and Ghost

A seed from the flower has fallen from the sky and looks upward,

overshadowed by the shade that swallows the third.

“Light, I desire light,” were the desires of the seed.

“Mirror in the sky, lend me your ghost for what I need.”

Winds took flight to carry the lost around.

Forests deep in thought dream without a sound.

Songbirds chirp with a melodic song.

“Oh, where, oh where, does a little seed belong?

Mr. Fox, Mr. Bear, and Mr. Wolf all guard sacred land.

I have no feet, yet with them shall I stand.”

A land of whispers and a mirror in the sky,

reflections of a ghost left to wonder why.

Enchanted fountains of water made pure.

Lightning and fire cleanse the jade eye crafted from allure.

“I'll seek what I desire the most.

I'll venture forth with Mommy Moon and Ghost.”

My dreams and whims are for all to know.

Finally, I found my clearing; it is time for me to grow.
