Poem 16 of 35

Repetitious Raindrops

Vain repetitious raindrops fall;

Through misty streams of a narrow hall.

A beating heart grows cold;

Of my blurry image gone old.

Oh how I have waited to return;

To a place so restless and pure;

But blood shatters my veins to burn.

Crippling jesters in front of a farrow;

As I look along the straight and narrow.

Satan whispers to a soul that’s torn;

Mocking billows that laugh to scorn.

I look for hope in the form of a dove;

To a place that I wish to love.
