Music in the Season

Winter awakens from a slumber song.

Children laugh as they dance along.

Festivities enliven the spirits of those who are past.

Family and friends, our one eternal bond to last.

Celebrations blossom upon the cherry tree.

Leaves bloom, white blended with pink, dreams set free.

Thoughts of the three spin around the clock.

Friendships threaded with silvery joy, never to mock.

Jingle bells sound triumphantly down a dusty hall.

Lost but not forgotten, the dead jingle for all.

Lightning begets ice upon the forge and fire.

Trials burn the faith as a candle ignites a choir.

Wednesday's tomorrow will come as we dream around a flame.

Raindrops fall to the melody, a familiar ring never the same.

Mistakes once blossomed; time now passed, I will not be dismayed.

Water bells—a note, a song.

Singing and laughter, an acquired tune.

Song and dance acquaint themselves very well.

Melodic rhymes hang in the air to make all swell.

All have a time; all have a reason.

All to love: music in the season.
